The design of this feeder is completely different from conventional automatic feeders for small and medium breeds of dogs, as the dispensing mechanism has a completely different principle of feeding food into the bowl (principle of a meat grinder, ejection by a spiral). The goal of the designers was to ensure that the trough could handle larger feed pieces without clogging. In addition, the trough is completely sealed and has a special automatic flap that automatically opens when feed is fed and automatically closes after feed is dispensed. Based on previous experience, this feature has been added to prevent small insects and rodents from entering the feed through the dispensing window. Also, a desiccant compartment has been added to keep the feed dry. A smart lock is installed on the top cover, which is not easy for your pet to open. PetWant F5 has built-in sensors for feed level, food jam, portion control, etc. A very aesthetic indicator in the form of a luminous ring is located on the facade. He will tell you if the feed runs out or point out errors in the operation of the feeder.

If your feeding dosage exceeds an average of 50-70 grams per feeding, then this feeder is for you. Due to the larger feed pellets and their different shapes, a different number of pellets fall into each compartment of the auger, so each portion may have a different weight. But, in general, for one feeding of 5 servings, the feeder will give on average an equal dosage from 50 to 80 grams. It is clear that a medium or large breed of dog will not get by with 1 serving of 10-20 grams. Therefore, the manufacturer gave priority to the operation of the feeder in the direction of using large feed sizes.
